Before we get into all the details we wanted to say THANK YOU for being a part of Fairfax Comic Con!

Booth Assignments

All booth assignments are currently labeled TBA, meaning To Be Announced. We will no longer be posting the exact booth numbers until check-in.

Why?

The biggest reason for this is that most cancellations occur in the final 2 weeks before the show. Causing us to move things around repeatedly behind the scenes.

When someone cancels, everyone will “MOVE UP” to fill the empty slot. Then, any wait list exhibitors will fill in at the end of the line. This is both simple and incredibly fair. Last minute additions won’t “fill in” the front spots. The earlier you were in the show, the better your spot.

Once at the show, you will receive your booth number, which will be THE BEST up-to-the-minute spot.

Cancellations and No-Shows

This is an important reminder that we have a ton of folks on wait list. If you need to cancel, you can contact us and receive a 50% refund. No-Call/No-shows will not be eligible to exhibit next year.

Saturday 10am-5pm
Sunday    11am-4pm

LOAD-IN:
Friday Aug 16 12pm-8pm
Saturday Aug 17 6:30am-9:30am
Sunday Aug 18 10:00am-10:30am

DETAILS:
Load-in will take place at the rear of the Dulles Expo Center North Hall. Exhibitors be ready to give your business name at the check-in table so we can get you in as quickly as possible. At check-in, you will be issued a wristband that must be worn at all times during the event (Saturday and Sunday). No exceptions. Do not lose, cut, or take off your wristbands. There will be a replacement fee for any wristbands.

TABLES
Tables will be marked with your name and number. You will be issued your booth number at check-in.

Please note the venue does not provide carts or dollies, so prepare accordingly.

GUIDELINES

ARTIST ALLEY
Artist Alley Tables are for Comic Book Artists, Comic Authors, and Handmade Creators/Crafters ONLY.

Includes one table, two chairs, and two passes. Displays cannot exceed 8 ft high. No table splitting/sharing. Each 6ft table is for one Artist and up to one assistant.

VENDOR BOOTHS
Vendor Booth area is 8×10 and includes one table (two for Corner Booths), two chairs, and two passes. Displays cannot exceed 10 ft high. Vendors can bring additional tables and shelving.

We do not accept: LuLaRoe, Mary Kay, Multi-Level Marketing, etc.

CLUB TABLES
Club Tables are intended for groups and organizations who plan to sell NO items (retail or otherwise) at their table. Includes one table, one chair, and two passes. These free tables are intended for clubs, cons, and charities only.

EXHIBITOR DETAILS
-All materials must be “All Age Appropriate”
-Food, Firework, and Weapon sales are PROHIBITED.
-Each Vendor/Artist receives 2 Exhibitor Wristbands per table.
-Bring your own tablecloths, displays, and signage.
-Displays cannot exceed 10 ft high.
-Square and Paypal card readers work in the convention center but WiFi is only available through the CC at an additional cost.
-No Subletting or Sharing your table of any kind.
-Due to the high volume of exhibitors we do not take seating requests.

Fairfax Comic Con is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Fairfax Comic Con reserves the right to cancel any exhibitor at any time.

EXHIBITOR FAQ

Can I purchase extra exhibitor wristbands?
Yes. Extra wristbands are available during load-in with a maximum of 2 extras. They are for additional help at your booth only, $20 each.

Can I get a free autograph/photo with Special Guests?
Your exhibitor status does not include freebies with guests, but you are welcome to purchase from them.

I want to go grab lunch or run to the bathroom, can a staff member watch my table?
No. Your booth is your own responsibility and the staff of the show and the convention center are expressly prohibited from tending your booth. Please plan accordingly to have adequate staff.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes. Provided your children are well-behaved and do not cause any commotion with your exhibitor neighbors.
